Chicken Steak with Peppercorn Sauce


Ingredients

For the steak
Chicken fillet 500 gms
Garlic + ginger paste 1tbsp
Lemon juice or vinegar 1 tsp.
Pinch of mixed herbs
Mustard paste 1 tsp.
Worcester sauce 1 tbsp.
Salt + pepper
Oil to grill



For the pepper sauce

1 tsp butter
3 Tbsp green peppercorns, cracked
1 small onion chopped finely
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
Salt and black pepper
Chicken stock

Method

Lightly hammer the fillet, marinate with all the ingredients for 2 hours.
Heat a fry pan or steak grill with oil, grill the chicken until done.
Abt 5 mins each side
Collect all the stock from the chicken to use in the sauce
Serve topping with pepper sauce & French fries

For the pepper sauce

1 tsp butter
3 Tbsp green peppercorns, cracked
1 small onion chopped finely
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
Salt and black pepper
Chicken stock

Melt butter in a pan
Add the onions and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add the chicken stock and turn the heat to high.
Boil the sauce for 4-5 minutes
Pour in the heavy cream
Add all other ingredients
Again, boil till slightly thick.
Pour the sauce over the steaks right when you serve.
